We were all young and wanted to change the world once, right? I remember cutting class back in high school in support of a Viet Nam war protest and we were convinced we made a difference. Now, as an older adult (oh, that doesn’t sound good), I try to change the world by making charitable contributions or doing volunteer work. What are you doing?
In 2015, CNBC and its NBC Universal partners joined together to launch The Season of Kindness, celebrating acts of kindness large and small throughout the holidays. Something as simple as opening a door for a stranger or writing a thank you note can completely transform someone’s day for the better…and it doesn’t have to cost a thing.
