I’m on a quest to finish my Christmas shopping. Oh, I’m all talk….I tell everyone I’m done, but I need one more little gift for Leslie and Marissa (aka the-greatest-girl-on-earth). I know what I want to get and it won’t be a surprise after they read this post.
They both like to do word puzzles. Word searches for Leslie, crosswords for Marissa. A coworker works on a different kind of word search during her lunch hour, so I went to Amazon today to look for a word fill-in puzzle book.
Amazon: Search for “word search puzzles for adults.” And what shows up on my page? All large-print puzzles! I may have searched for something in large print a while back, but that doesn’t mean I need everything in large print now, does it? And how do you remember that, Amazon? Are you calling me old?
Or is Amazon just thinking of my well-being? It knows that I’ll be happier with large print puzzles instead of having to squint to read some of the pages, right? What kind of algorithms does Amazon use to put this front-and-center for me?
By the way, if you’re in the market for large print word puzzles, there is even a better choice. Extra large print!
